WinTV-HVR-935-HD is a USB TV tuner with analogue TV and video, plus DVB-T2, DVB-T and DVB-C digital TV reception. You can can receive Free-to-air digital terrestrial HD TV (also called 'DVB-T/T2'), digital cable television and radio (DVB-C), analogue cable TV on your PC or notebook.

WinTV-HVR-935-HD comes with the WinTV v8 HD application, which contains video decoders for both SD TV and HDTV. You can also enjoy free to air HDTV programs on your digital cable TV system. Note: over-the-air and DVB-C HD programmes are only available in some areas

Timeshifting
Thanks to the TimeShift function and Hauppauge's WinTV v8 application, you can pause your TV programme by simply clicking the pause button in WinTV v8. Then continue your TV programme at a later time.
Digital Video Recorder
Record digital TV programmes manually or automatically (with WinTV v8's built-in TV recording scheduler) without quality loss. You can also record analgue TV, which is converted directly into the space-saving MPEG-2 format during recording via opur SoftPVR software encoder.
Electronic Program Guide

Notes:
- The WinTV-HVR-935-HD HD includes a portable digital terrestrial antenna, which can be used when traveling (dependant on reception). When used in the home or office, we recommend a high gain roof top digital antenna connection. Some viewers will need to replace their aerials to receive digital transmissions if the installation is old or in poor condition. Digital Terrestrial coverage is improving all the time as digital terrestrial television transmitters are continuously being updated. However it may take some time for coverage to reach particular areas of the country.
- For Singapore residents, you can receive the Mediacorp's free-to-air digital TV programs from your SCV's wall socket cable TV input point.
Select the option as DVB-C and do a complete scan to lock all the available free-to-air Digital TV programs.
- Please note that you can't receive the encrypted or paid channels via the Starhub's cable TV wall socket input with WinTV-HVR-935-HD.
- DVB-C channels can be received if unecrypted DVB-C channels are available in your area or from your cable TV provider.
- Channels available from digital cable (DVB-C) depends on Cable TV provider, please visit the website of your cable TV provider for the list of ‘free’ digital cable channels.
- The WinTV-HVR-935-HD supports free to air DVB-T2 and DVB-T High Definition digital TV if available at your premises.
