• Great, finally a coverage in Istocno Sarajevo in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Good job making progress in Bosnia and Bulgaria as well.
• On various forums there are concerns (some are below) about the accuracy of countries covered on some of the new v965 maps:-
  The High_Level Europe_East_965_7250 is now much smaller than all the others of 965 and all the others before (950/955/960):
  Europe_East_965_7250 (813.5 MB) vs. Europe_East_960_7056 (1.87GB)
  Europe_East_965_7252 (1.9GB) vs. Europe_East_960_7057 (1.9GB)
  Europe_East_965_7280 (1.7GB) vs. Europe_East_960_7075 (1.76GB)
  Europe_East_965_7282 (1.8GB) vs. Europe_East_960_7077 (1.79GB)
  In this Europe_East_965_7250 no Benelux, Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland and Italy included , but in the LowLevel-maps.
  The same goes for Europe_South 965_7520.
  This map should have most features and be largest but this map now has primarily Eastern countries and not the normal countries of Europe_South.
  The same goes for Europe_Central. Up until release 960 Europe_Central has always been identical to Central_Europe and you could easily see it by comparing the checksums of the files, which were identical in both releases.
  Now with 965 release, Europe_Central is a lot smaller than Central_Europe, albeit claiming to cover the same countries. Something is really weird about this.
  Only the 'High_Level' Central_Europe_965_7250 (1,68 GB) and Europe_Central_965_7250 (1,06 GB) are different now. The other 'Low-Level'-maps not (Central_Europe_965_7280 1,05 GB = Europe_Central_965_7280 1,05 GB). The same at Europe_South/Nord/West/East-High-Level-maps (fewer countries).
• There is definitely something odd about this new 965 maps.
  For example the 'new' 965 Italy map is basically a copy and paste of the 960 (there are NO CHANGES AT ALL in a 10.000 km² area and in many big cities.. this has never happened).
  A lot of data (in Italy) that was added before map 960 was lost probably due to the migration to the new map system (i reported the problem to tomtom months ago) and i hoped that this new map would have fixed those data migration problems.. apparently i was wrong.
  Hopefully after the new map system is fully up and running all these problems will be addressed.
• Gpsfix and new map download were shown as 2 updates on MyDrive Connect. Gpsfix downloaded and placed on my TomTom Via 1535m Live without problem ..but the map refused to download. Error message...'Something has gone wrong with your device'. Same computer as the October 2015 map update that installed without problem. Windows 10 used in both cases. Is there a server error?

• Just talked with TomTom customer service and found out that the 'Something has gone wrong with your device' issue when trying to download the new 965 map is a known global issue that they are working on to correct.
• I was afraid I corrupted my device. After MyDrive Connect said my device was up to date, but the device was still updating the map, I disconnected. Then I got the 'something has gone wrong message' and deleted both the US and Europe maps in an attempt to restart the download. Then got a 'no maps are installed' error. Next time I will skip a map update I don't need really.
• This problem is resolved for me. Removed all traces of My Drive Connect from computer. Reinstalled program, then patiently installed maps.
• In another thread I had just congratulated TT on apparently fixing the 'no Mapshare updates to SD card' problem. I'm glad at least that others have mentioned the 'Something has gone wrong..' phenomenon.
  I could not get the map to install to my SD card, but I did finally get a Map Zone into internal memory.
  It must be frustrating to TT employees to announce a map update then be bombarded with complaints about the updating process.
  Sigh..
• I am have purchased a map for australia for my go 520 - someone called ayden at tom tom is dealing with my order. I havent ordered a new map for ages and am used to being able to immediately download it after payment. But for some reason this isnt an option??
  I am thoroughly confused - how on earth now that i have paid for the map on my credit card can i download it?
  and i hate the new website; its clunky it doesnt work smoothly and its confusing. images over images and not easy to use or read like the previous edition.

• Normally you should get an email giving you download instruction but try connecting to TTHome and 'update' from there
  Unless, of course they are holding back because they have not yet released the latest 965 map which is late/overdue

• Hi there -I had endless problems downloading and installing the most recent map update for my TT 5000 and had to restart SatNav and Laptop numerous times before successful installation. I have now noticed that the 'Jane' voice has changed and it no longer reads street names or advises which camera type is coming up! Why has this changed? Is there a problem? Will this be rectified and if so, when? Why fix things if they are not broken is a phrase that springs to mind!
• Don't have the unit with me now (it is in the car), but is the 'Jane' voice a computer voice? Usually 'Samantha' is the computer voice. Recorded voices don't read aloud anything. In case 'Jane' is a computer voice, then ignore the previous sentence

• @Zsolt - thank you for your comment about TT voices. I hereby withdraw my previous posting. I must have had a senior moment. For some reason, having downloaded the new map, the computer voice I had previously been using had reverted back to recorded voice (Jane). This is why I was not getting street names and speed camera types read out. I went back into my voice settings to check everything and reset to previous choices and everything is working fine again.
