Well I have news for Steve: Forget it! I can't understand why Martin has done this, except his ego has gotten so big he thinks he's funny enough to pull it off. Sorry, but Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau just does not make it. Both of these Pink Panther remakes are totally lame travesties and nothing more than cheap imitation cash-grabs. Jan 20, 2012 I am trying to play castle of the wind but I have Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I downloaded dosbox and loaded everything up but when i try to run the game it says, 'This game requires Microsoft Windows.' Whenever I give a command for setup or the game file it says 'this program requires microsoft windows' I'm on a windows computer. What do I do?
I'm trying to run a DOS game in DOSBox, but it says it must be run under Win32. The game in question was recently re-released for higher resolution and ability to run under Windows. Does it mean it's no longer compatible with DOS?
NB If it helps, the game is Raptor - Call of the Shadows 2010 Edition.
Make sure the 'Fixes are available' filter is off. Go to main vulnerabilities screen 2. Right-Click on a vulnerability, and choose properties to see advisory information, Etc. Review the vulnerabilities 4. Delete windows installer folder.

The format of EXE files for Windows is different then for DOS - Windows applications contain a small DOS stub which says 'This program can not be run in DOS' and exits; Windows loader uses a different entry point.
If that message is what you see when trying to run the executable in DOSBox, then it means the executable has the new format (not surprisingly in 2010), so DOS (and DOSBox) can't load it. Try using Wine.
